By accessing or using Bored in Seattle ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Bored in Seattle provides TikTok analytics and post tracking tools for Seattle-based content creators. The Service accesses TikTok data through TikTok's official API to display analytics and content performance metrics.

3. User Accounts and TikTok Authorization

To use certain features, you may need to authorize the Service to access your TikTok account data via TikTok's Login Kit. By authorizing, you grant us permission to retrieve your publicly available profile information, video data, and analytics as permitted by TikTok's API. You may revoke this access at any time through your TikTok account settings.

4. User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You agree not to misuse the Service or use it for any unlawful purpose.
  • You will not attempt to access data belonging to other users.
  • You must comply with TikTok's Terms of Service when using data accessed through our Service.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code of the Service are owned by Bored in Seattle. TikTok content displayed through the Service remains the property of its respective creators and TikTok.

6. Data Usage and TikTok API

We access TikTok data solely through official TikTok APIs in compliance with TikTok's Developer Terms of Service. We do not scrape, crawl, or otherwise collect TikTok data through unauthorized means. Data retrieved from TikTok is used only to provide analytics and insights to the authorized user.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Bored in Seattle shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. We are not responsible for the accuracy of data provided by TikTok's API.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
